Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the InstiWise platform at instiwise.com (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or list an institution on InstiWise. By using the Platform you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms on behalf of any organisation you represent.

2. Description of Service

InstiWise is an online education directory that allows:

• Parents and students to discover, compare, and contact schools and coaching centers.
• Institutions to create and manage a public profile listing on the Platform.

InstiWise does not directly provide educational services and is not a party to any agreement between users and institutions.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@instiwise.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Institution Listings

If you list an institution on InstiWise, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your institution.
• Not misrepresent affiliations, accreditations, fee structures, or results.
• Respond to student and parent inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Not post content that is defamatory, misleading, illegal, or violates third-party rights.
• Grant InstiWise a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content on the Platform.

InstiWise reserves the right to verify, edit, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or is reported as inaccurate.

5. User-Generated Content

Reviews, questions, answers, and other content you submit must:

• Reflect honest, first-hand experiences.
• Not be defamatory, abusive, obscene, or harassing.
• Not contain spam, promotional content, or personal information of others.

By submitting content, you grant InstiWise a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Scrape or systematically harvest data from the Platform without written permission.
• Submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform other than user-submitted content — including the InstiWise name, logo, design, software, and editorial content — is owned by or licensed to InstiWise and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

InstiWise provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that information provided by institutions (fees, results, accreditations) is accurate or complete. Users are advised to independently verify institution information before making admissions decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InstiWise and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold InstiWise harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
